Hoyer Hosts Luncheon to Honor Outstanding Fifth District Educators PDF Print E-mail

PRINCE FREDERICK, MD – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) hosted a luncheon today to honor outstanding teachers and principals in the Fifth District. Honorees included recipients of the Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award, Distinguished Educational Leadership Award, County Teacher of the Year Award, and the Kennedy Center Stephen Sondheim Inspirational Teacher Award.

"I'd like to thank these extraordinary teachers and principals for their hard work and dedication to our students," stated Congressman Hoyer. "Maryland is
home to the best schools in the nation, and we have exemplary educators like these teachers and principals honored today to thank. I urge all Marylanders to join me in recognizing their contributions to our community, and helping to ensure they have the tools and resources they deserve."
