Media Advisory: Rooney, Stuart Commission to Promote Suicide Prevention Awareness for Veterans
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Tom Rooney (FL-16) today announced that he will join the City of Stuart Commission to mark September as Suicide Prevention Month by raising awareness about the high rates of suicide in America’s military and veteran communities, and by promoting the resources that are available to assist them.
Rooney will receive a proclamation from the Commission in support of Suicide Prevention Month.
