WASHINGTON, D.C. – With the advent of the Christmas season, U.S. Senator Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) today released a holiday message to members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Cochran, ranking member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, recorded the brief message at the request of the Department of Defense, which is broadcasting similar messages on the Armed Forces Network and the Pentagon Channel.

The following is the text of Cochran’s video message:

“This is United States Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi wishing you well during this holiday season. We thank you for your service, your bravery and your patriotism, and we look forward to your safe return home to your family and friends.  May God bless you and be with you as you serve our grateful nation.”
