Seeking Advice

An important part of the Committee’s work is providing advice to Senate Members and staff.  Committee staff is available to provide informal advice over the telephone or in person, and the Committee will provide a formal written response to a written inquiry.

Informal advice

Committee staff may be contacted at (202) 224-2981.  The Committee’s offices are located in 220 Hart Senate Office Building.  If you have a complex or unique question, it is recommended that you seek a formal written response from the Committee.

Formal Written Responses

To request a formal written response addressing your specific concern, send a letter detailing your question to the Committee.   Please be as specific as possible.  Generally, the Committee does not address past conduct.  Written inquiries should be addressed to:

Inquiries from outside organizations and individuals
