To ensure residents of the area regained access to necessary services provided by the post office, I sent a letter to Ms. Megan Brennan, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the United States Postal Service (USPS), and Mr. Kevin McAdams, Manager of Consumer and Industry of the USPS in the Central Pennsylvania District. This week, I had the privilege of sitting in on the interviews for students who wish to be nominated to one of our nation’s service academies (U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy). I was very impressed with the patriotism and commitment of the candidates, all of whom seem very willing to serve our country.
