The White House
Due to increased security procedures enacted after September 11, 2001, it is very difficult to get tickets to tour the White House. Slots are extremely limited. The White House requires that tour requests be made no less than three (3) weeks in advance of your desired date. However, we strongly encourage you to make your White House Tour request up to six (6) months in advance because of security procedures and popularity. Requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note, the White House does not update Congressional offices about whether tour requests are granted or denied until about two (2) weeks before the requested tour date.

You may take a virtual tour of the White House here.

Note: All tours are subject to suspension or cancellation due to emergencies and similar conditions.
