**NOTICE**
As you may be aware, I am leaving office in the U.S. House of Representatives at the end of 2012. Due to the transition of my office to the newly elected Representative for the First Congressional District and the advance notice Washington tour sites require for request submissions, my office will be unable to submit a new tour request on your behalf. I encourage you to visit the websites of Senator Inhofe and Senator Coburn to submit your Washington tour request(s). If you have questions regarding an existing tour reservation, please contact my Washington office: (202) 225-2211.

Below you will find information regarding public tours available for many of the sites in Washington D.C. I hope that the following list of tour sites will be helpful as you plan your visit.

The public “walk-up” line for tickets is open from 8:50 AM – 3:20 PM. If you arrive in the morning and wait in this line, you will be able to obtain ‘same-day tickets’. Tickets are first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving earlier rather than later. If you are interested in obtaining walk-up tickets, you will enter the Capitol through the Capitol Visitor Center, located on the corners of First Street Southeast and East Capitol. Once entering the Capitol Visitor Center, you will need to wait in the “Public Walk-up line” in Emancipation Hall, where a Capitol Visitor’s Center Guide will assist you in acquiring same-day tickets. Capitol tours last approximately 1 hour.
