WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Jason Altmire (PA-04) will host a job and career fair at the Community College of Beaver County in Monaca, on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 9:00am-1:00pm.

The event will bring together the region's top job providers who are hiring or will be hiring in the near future, and will include workshops on how social media is changing the job search, resume writing, interview skills, tips for switching careers, and how to learn about and apply for jobs with the federal and state governments. In addition, the day will begin with a panel discussion on high-growth industries in the region and how job seekers can take part. No pre-registration is required.
