WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, July 1, 2011, U.S. Congressman Jason Altmire, Pa.-04, will host a Military Service Academy Information Tent for students and their parents at the Northway Christian Community Church Car Cruise. The information tent will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to talk to representatives from the Naval Academy, West Point, Air Force Academy and Merchant Marine Academy about academy applications and the Congressional nomination process.

"The United States Military Academies represent some of our nation's most prestigious educational institutions," Congressman Altmire said. "I hope any student who is interested in applying for one of the Academies will visit our information tent to learn more."
