August 18, 2009
(PITTSBURGH, PA) -- Today, U.S. Congressman Jason Altmire (PA-04) announced that he will hold a town hall meeting on health care reform in Farrell on Wednesday, August 26 at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the auditorium at Farrell Area High School, located at 1600 Roemer Boulevard in Farrell, PA. Doors will open at 4 pm.
“This summer, I have been crisscrossing my district, talking to seniors, small business owners, families, and health care providers about what they think should be included in health care reform,” Altmire said. “This town hall meeting will give everyone a chance to come together and discuss how best to reform our nation’s health care system. I encourage everyone who has questions or concerns about health care reform to come to this town hall.”
Congressman Altmire will also have a telephone town hall on Wednesday, September 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to talk to constituents from across the district about health care. Altmire held two telephone town halls on health care reform earlier this summer. More than 12,000 people participated in each of these calls. Constituents who wish to participate in Altmire’s telephone town hall can call his Aliquippa Office at (724) 378-0928 to be added to the call list.
