We owe our Veterans a tremendous debt of gratitude for their service and sacrifice. To all our veterans out there, thank you for your service! If you need help obtaining military records, are having problems with disability compensation, or are having difficulty with some other program or service administrated by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), I might be able to help. Although I cannot order the agency to decide a matter in your favor or circumvent regulations, I can ensure that your case is treated fairly. The VA's website has a lot of good information about the various VA benefits and services that are available to eligible veterans and their families, including disability compensation, pensions, VA home loans, and VA health benefits among others. Please click on the following link to go to the official Veterans Affairs website: www.va.gov. In addition, the answers to some frequently asked questions listed below, provides some helpful contact information. Also, you may want to register with the VA’s E-Benefits, which will give you access to many services, including applying for benefits, downloading your DD 214, and viewing your benefits status. That site can be accessed at www.ebenefits.va.gov. If you cannot find the information you need or would like assistance, please contact my office by completing the short Casework Inquiry Form.
