AUGUSTA – On Thursday, October 18, 2012, and Monday, October 22, 2012, Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) will host two Medicare open enrollment events in Augusta and Statesboro. The open enrollment period for Medicare begins today, October 15, 2012, and continues through December 7, 2012.

During the open enrollment period, Medicare recipients are able to make changes to their plans and choose a Medicare supplemental insurance plan or Medicare Advantage Plan. Representatives from CSRA Area Agency on Aging and the Coastal Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging.
