U.S. Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) will host two jobs fairs in Augusta and Statesboro on August 11th and August 21st. The jobs fairs will match job seekers with local employers throughout the 12th District.

"My top priority is to ensure that everybody in my district who wants a job, has a job," said Congressman Barrow. "These job fairs will allow folks in the 12th District to meet with employers to talk about opportunities right here in Georgia."

In Statesboro, Congressman Barrow is teaming with the Chamber of Commerce to host a veteran's jobs fair as part of the Chamber's "Hiring Our Heroes" initiative.

"Our veterans face a lot of challenges when they return home, but finding a job shouldn't be one of them," Congressman Barrow continued. "We're working with the Chamber of Commerce to bring local employers to one location to make it easier for our veterans."
