On Monday, April 9, 2012, Congressman John Barrow (GA-12), Augusta officials, and representatives from Facebook will participate in a Community Cyber Safety Seminar at the Academy of Richmond County High School Auditorium from 7:00PM – 8:30PM. This seminar will inform parents and students on how to be safe online, and offer tips and answer questions on the best ways to protect children online and end cyber bullying.

“Technological advances and online innovations have made all of our lives easier in many ways,” wrote Barrow. “But with those new opportunities come new challenges. I hope students and parents will walk away with a better understanding of how to be safe when using the Internet.”

The featured presentation at the Community Cyber Safety Seminar will be part of the first ever Facebook road show.
