"It's a unique opportunity to work for the Congressman who represents your home town," Thomas said.  "I'm looking forward to continuing to help Mr. Barrow on the issues that affect Washington County in the 111th Congress."

Thomas was born and raised in Tennille, Georgia, the eldest son of Joe and Randy Thomas.  A member of the Tennille United Methodist Church, he graduated from Sandersville's Brentwood School in 1995 and went on to earn a B.A. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Georgia.  While at UGA, Hill worked for the School of Crop and Soil Sciences.  He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife Katy.
