Washington, D.C. – Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) is proud to announce that Wyatt Kennedy, a 7^th grader at Collins Middle School, has won his 2011 Holiday Art Contest.

More than 300 students from Georgia’s 12th District submitted original artwork to be used as the cover for Congressman Barrow’s 2011 Holiday Card. Students from 5^th to 8^th Grade were asked to participate. All of the drawings and designs were wonderful, but Wyatt’s artwork was chosen from all of the submissions as representative of the very best. It is now the cover of Congressman Barrow’s Holiday Card for this year. On the back of the card is a photo of Wyatt.

“Wyatt’s card represents what the holidays mean to folks and families in the 12th District,” said Barrow. “Enjoying time together is really what the holidays are all about.”
