On Saturday, September 24, 2011, Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) will host a statewide Military Academy Day event at the Benedictine Military School in Savannah.

Congressman Barrow will be joined by representatives, cadets, and midshipmen from all five military academies to explain more about their admissions requirements and expectations. They will be available to answer questions from parents and students.

The event will be held at the Benedictine Military School from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. to familiarize students with the application and nomination process for applying to the nation’s five service academies.

Benedictine Military School is located at 6502 Seawright Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
