Tuesday, June 1, 2010, through Friday, June 4, 2010, Congressman John Barrow (GA-12) will be touring job training facilities and technical schools throughout Georgia’s 12th District.  He will be meeting with administrators and students along the way, and discussing ways that job training programs and incentives should be structured to get as many unemployed residents of the 12th District back to work as quickly as possible.  Press is welcome to participate in any of the tours.

“We’ve got to make sure that we’re putting folks back to work in jobs they’re going to be able to keep for a long time,” said Barrow.  “It used to be that you could keep a good, well-paying job, and I want to help folks get back there.  The best way to get that is through good job training.  I look forward to seeing the ways that we’re training folks throughout the 12th District and learning how we can do that even better.”
