LaVerne Saulny
Regional Manager
LaVerne Saulny, a native of Homer, Louisiana, joined Senator Landrieu's team in January 2002. She attended Louisiana State University Shreveport, where she majored in Forensic Psychology and was an Institute of Politics (IOP) Fellow of Loyola University. Prior to joining Senator Landrieu's staff, LaVerne founded "Write For You," a consulting firm that provided management and development consulting to non-profit organizations and corporations. While operating "Write for You," LaVerne wrote two books, Tips on Successful Grantwriting and Steps on How to Run a Profitable Home-based Business, which was featured in Essence Magazine. LaVerne has received numerous awards, including: National Who's Who Among Executive Females, The Power Generation 40 under 40 Top Business and Community Leaders in New Orleans and 1998 Advocacy Woman of the Year. She's an active member of the Greater New Orleans Junior League.

Wes Kungel
Regional Representative
Wes Kungel joined Senator Landrieu's New Orleans team in August 2005. Wes earned his BA from LSU in English. Before joining Senator Landrieu's team, Wes worked as a volunteer coordinator and instructor at Adult Literacy Advocates in Baton Rouge

Sherae M. Hunter
Constituent Services Representative
Sherae M. Hunter, a native of Jackson, MS, earned her bachelor's degree in English from Dillard University in New Orleans. She worked as an intern with the Food and Drug Administration under Mississippi Attorney General Mike Moore, and also worked for two years as an intern on various aspects of Moore's anti-tobacco legislation campaign. With Senator Landrieu's office in New Orleans, Hunter serves as a Constituent Services Representative. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Kasey Cummings
Constituent Services Representative
Kasey Cummings was born and raised in Natchitoches, La. She attended Northwestern St. University from 2001-2003 and Majored in Theater. Her husband is currently serving in the US coast guard and they are proud parents of two young sons. Kasey comes to us from Mobile, Alabama and is proud to be home and serving the people of Louisiana.
