Our Office can help you book several different tours for your upcoming trip to Washington, DC to make it a truly special visit. Below please find information on the most popular tours, those for the Capitol and the White House. Please make sure to include your name, the number of visitors, and the sites you would like to visit when you call or email your request. For more information and to book tours please contact our office at tours@ronjohnson.senate.gov or call our office at (202) 224-5323.

Capitol Tours:

Our Office can assist you in booking tours of the United States Capitol Building. Although getting into the Capitol does require tickets, the Capitol Visitor Center (CVC) is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please contact our office for more information and for assistance in booking these tours. Please be sure to include the dates of your trip and the number of people who would like to join the tour.

Please note that when visiting the Capitol Building, there are certain items that are prohibited from the facility. For a full list of these items please click here. If you have any questions feel free to contact our office.

If you are interested in visiting the Senate gallery to see our government “in action,” please stop by my Washington office in 386 Russell to get passes.

White House Tours:

Our office can also assist you in booking tours of The White House. The White House requires security information at the time the tour request is made.  The White House requires all security information to be submitted at least 21 days in advance.  The White House requires the following information from all those who wish to attend the tour:

-First, Middle, and Last Name
-Date of Birth
-Social Security Number
-Gender
-Country of Citizenship
-Country of Birth
-Home State and City

Please note that White House tours are extremely popular and space is limited.  The White House is open Tuesday through Saturday with tours taking place in the mornings.  Furthermore, tours can be canceled or changed at any point.  The best chance of getting a White House tour is to submit your request at least 6 months in advance. Due to the volume of requests received by the White House, some requests may be denied. These decisions are made by the White House and are beyond our control.

Please email our office at tours@ronjohnson.senate.gov if you are interested in a White House Tour. We will then forward you a copy of the White House Security Form to be completed.
