During my time in Congress I have had the honor of serving the residents of the Eighth Congressional District and I have made it a priority to make sure you stay informed about the actions of your government in Washington. That is why in the summer of 2010, I sent out a congressional mailer informing constituents of the projects in their towns that were funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. However, in the large amount of data that was processed for this mailer, it has come to my attention that there were some clerical errors involved in the calculation of funding for some municipalities. The errors and the correct amount of funding for these projects are listed below.
It is important to note that many funding amounts in the mailer were computed from information disseminated at www.Recovery.gov. For full details on these and all future projects and loans, you may visit www.Recovery.gov and click on “Where Is The Money Going.”
