WASHINGTON- Congressman Connie Mack (FL-14) made the following statement on the eleventh anniversary of September 11, 2001:
“Today we remember and honor the innocent men, women and children who lost their lives eleven years ago in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. We will never forget the sacrifices that were made, and today we, as a country, stand stronger than ever.
“We continue to pray for those who lost loved ones eleven years ago today. We pray for the men and women in uniform who continue to protect our country, our freedom, and our security.
“This day is a day of remembrance. We remember the lives that were sacrificed, and we remember how we stood together as a country. We shall never forget.”
