Visit D.C.

My staff and I can assist with reserving tours at a number of popular attractions in Washington, D.C. Please be sure to give my staff ample time to work on your request as most of the attractions operate under a first-come, first-serve approval process. Most tours cannot be requested more than 6 months in advance. During peak tour season, March through August, space may be very limited. Please submit your tour requests by filling out our online tour request form as soon as you know the dates you will be available in Washington.

Tours around Washington are generally available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  In consideration of this time frame I ask that if you have a preference of places you must list them as priorities in the comments page of your request form. This will help my staff better serve you and help ensure that you see all that you want to during your visit to Washington. When submitting your date availability, please provide your available dates and your travel dates. Once your request form is submitted we will begin the process of requesting the tours. Please note that my office only handles the request and we have no influence over the approval processes at different offices around Washington.

White House tours are highly recommended and therefore very popular. The tour itself is a self-guided tour through the East Wing. In order to submit a White House request my staff must also submit security information to the Secret Service. Once a White House tour is requested my staff will contact you requesting this security information. The White House will not accept a tour request more than 6 months in advance or less than 21 days in advance, please be mindful of this when submitting your request.  Please visit the White House tour Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for more information prior to requesting White House tickets.

For tours and attractions not handled directly through my office please see the table below. The links will prove helpful as you decide where to visit and what to see. There is never a lack of fun things to do in Washington and the opportunities are endless.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact my office at 202-225-6276.
