Congressman Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon), Vice Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and a member of the Intelligence Committee, made the following comments on the U.S. Embassy attacks in Libya and Egypt: 

"The deaths of the Americans serving our nation in Libya are tragic and unnecessary. It reminds us that duty stations in much of the world are dangerous and that most of us take that service for granted. 

The U.S. must insist that those responsible are brought to justice. 

Our prayers go out to the families who have lost loved ones."
