Today --

• The Senate will convene at 9:30 AM and proceed to a period of Morning Business until 2:00 PM. The first hour will be equally divided, with the Republicans controlling the first 30 minutes and the Majority controlling the second 30 minutes. The time from 11:30-2:00 PM will be reserved for speeches by retiring senators.

• Following Morning Business, the Senate will resume consideration of S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee bill. The amendment tree has been filled. All 1st degree amendments must be filed at the desk by 1:00 PM.

• On Tuesday, cloture was filed on S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee bill. Unless an agreement is reached, the Senate will conduct a ROLL CALL VOTE on the Motion to Invoke Cloture on S. 3637, the Transaction Account Guarantee bill, on Thursday.
