Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va. released the following statement in response to the announcement that Armstrong Hardware Flooring will hire 145 additional workers in West Virginia:

“Job creation is always something to celebrate, and even more welcomed at a time when our economy is still struggling to recover.  Armstrong Hardware Flooring has been a staple in the Randolph County community for over two decades, employing hundreds of hard-working West Virginians. For years Armstrong has relied on the talented workforce here in West Virginia, and this expansion is a further testament to employee ability and superior work ethic.”

Armstrong Hardwood Flooring, which employs 8,500 worldwide, also has a plant in Millwood, WV.
