Competition is open to all high school students. The over-all
winner of each participating district will be displayed for one year in
the U.S. Capitol.
Guidelines
All entries submitted must be an original in concept, design and execution.

Artwork must be two-dimensional.

Each finished piece can be no larger than 25” x 25” x 2” or 28", 28" x 4" with frame.

Artwork cannot weigh more than 15 lbs.
Accepted media for artwork are as follows:

Paintings: oil, acrylics, watercolor, etc.

Drawings: pastels, colored pencil, pencil, charcoal, ink, markers

Collage
-
Prints: lithographs, silkscreen, block prints

Mixed Media: pencil, ink, watercolor, etc.

Computer-Generated Art

follow the 2012 Art Competition Guidelines and fill out, print, sign
and submit the Student Information/Release Form to Alice Smith in our
