WASHINGTON - Rep. Zoe Lofgren supports a free and open internet while also making sure that creative Americans' ownership of digital intellectual properties is protected. That is why she supports the bipartisan, bicameral proposal OPEN: Online Protection & Enforcement of Digital Trade Act. The proposal is an alternative approach to protecting online piracy than the flawed H.R. 3261 (SOPA).
