Washington, DC – Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, Chair of the California Democratic Congressional Delegation today issued the following statement in response to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s letter to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regarding energy refunds:

“The California Democratic Congressional Delegation welcomes Governor Schwarzenegger’s involvement in the California energy crisis.  More than eight months have passed since we first brought this issue to the Governor’s attention during his first trip to Washington D.C., last October.  We are pleased to see that he has finally demonstrated some support for energy refunds.

“Californians were overcharged almost $9 billion.  We are committed to getting ALL of this money back.  We hope that the Governor will join us in this fight.”
