Residents of the 20th District of California may purchase a United States flag through Congressman Jim Costa's office in Washington, DC.
Flags come in different sizes and fabrics with the added option of having the flag flown over the Capitol. A flag may be flown in honor of an individual, a group, or an organization, for a specific occasion, and on a specific date. Costs vary according to the details of your order.
Congressman Costa is unable to donate a flag.
To purchase a flag, please submit a flag order form indicating the type and quantity of flags in your order. If you would like a flag flown over the Capitol, please specify the names, date, and occasion to appear on a certificate of dedication to accompany the flag.
In order for your request to be processed, please send a check made payable to Congressman Jim Costa Office Supply Account. For more information regarding prices please refer to the Flag Postage Calculator.
If your request is for a specific date, please submit your request at least five weeks in advance. Also, please allow six to eight weeks after the flying date for flags to be delivered to you.
