At the direction of the incoming Republican majority, there will be no earmark requests in the House of Representatives during the 112th Congress.
While I have been successful in securing earmarks in the past that have had significant benefits for our district, such as funding for the new Mississippi River Bridge, construction at Scott Air Force Base, projects at SIU Carbondale, the Olmsted Locks and Dam, and many others, I will be unable make such requests over the next two years.
