WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (CO-1) today praised the National Western Stock Show’s commitment to stay in Denver. She issued the following statement:
 
“For over 100 years, the Stock Show has been an iconic institution in the Denver community. As a fourth-generation Coloradoan, I remember attending as a little girl and what a source of pride it was for my family.  That is why I am so pleased with today’s announcement that, after a long process, the Stock Show would be staying in Denver. I commend National Western, Mayor Hancock and all the other stakeholders who came together to ensure our community can benefit from this important economic driver well into the future, and to secure the ability of many more generations to continue to enjoy its unique experience.”
