Statement on the Passing of Arlen Specter

“Arlen Specter leaves a lasting legacy of service to Pennsylvania and the United States. He conducted his recent battles with cancer in the same manner that he conducted his remarkable political career – with grit and determination.  Leslie and I send our deepest sympathies to Senator Specter’s family.  They are certainly in our thoughts and prayers in this time of great loss.”
