Ohio's Ninth District includes most of Lucas, all of Ottawa and Erie and the South and West of Lorain Counties. We serve the people of this region which borders beautiful Lake Erie and its islands, and is home to Sandusky Bay, the Maumee River, Thomas Edison's hometown of Milan, the world class Toledo Museum of Art, several respected institutions of higher learning, the nationally recognized Toledo Zoo and of course, the roller coasters at Cedar Point.

Dozens of fine communities dot the landscape of Ohio 9 and all contribute to the vibrant and productive fabric of our state. The District's flagship city, Toledo, is a microcosm of what makes the whole district strong. Toledo is home to high tech industry, heavy manufacturing, an agricultural economy, vibrant neighborhoods rich in ethnic and religious diversity, and it is home to good people who respect the value of hard work and who know economic hardship.
