Financial Disclosures

In a continuing effort to bring stronger ethics, transparency and accountability to government I am pleased to make good on my promise to post my senate financial disclosure forms online. Disclosures are due on May 15 of every year and current senate rules do not require that disclosure forms be posted online. In fact, senate rules only allow access to physical copies of the forms in the Senate Office of Public Records located in Washington D.C.

To provide Alaskans with an open and honest account of my finances I will post all of my financial disclosure forms here on my website. In addition I will not comply with the current practice of destroying financial disclosure forms after six years. I firmly believe that senate ethics rules should be strengthened and that senate financial disclosure forms should be publicly available online. Making my information available online is a first step towards achieving meaningful reform to increase ethics and accountability in the senate.
