Dreier Announces Job Fair Participants
SAN DIMAS, CA - Congressman David Dreier (R-San Dimas) announced today the full list of expected participants at his Road to Employment Job Fair 2009. The list includes companies and government agencies ranging from retail to finance to law enforcement. Also participating this year will be many educational and training entities for those interested in furthering their education and pursuing a new career. The Road to Employment Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Goldy Lewis Community Center, 11200 Baseline Road in Rancho Cucamonga.
“In this difficult economic climate, the Road to Employment Job Fair has never been more important,” Dreier said. “With so many families dealing with the loss of a job, we need to do all we can to help them get back on their feet. That’s why I’m so pleased to announce that over 50 employers are participating in this year’s job fair. Local governments and law enforcement agencies, as well as retail, hospitality, communications, and energy businesses will be represented. We will also have workshops throughout the day to help job seekers learn new techniques for improving interview and resume-building skills. This year’s job fair will have a lot of information to offer employers and job seekers alike.”
Also participating in this year’s job fair will be the Greater Los Angeles Agency for the Deaf, Inc. to assist the hearing impaired.
