Dreier Announces Service Academy Nominations

SAN DIMAS, CA – Congressman David Dreier (R-CA) today announced the names of his nominees to the United States Air Force, Military, Naval and Merchant Marine Academies.
           
Nominated to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado are:  Nolan Andres-Alta Loma, Patrick Chen-Arcadia, Jonathan Clements-Alta Loma, Kelly Dualan-San Dimas, Chris Falkenbury-San Marino, Joshua Fonbuena-Rancho Cucamonga, Jonathan Ivy-Claremont, Nicklaus Koeppen-La Cañada Flintridge, Gregory Mak-Arcadia, Scott Margiotta-Walnut, Alexandra Preiss-La Cañada Flintridge, Denver Rogers-Montclair, Anthony Rosati-San Dimas, Melanie Sanchez-Alta Loma, Jaron Swinburn-Rancho Cucamonga, Ian Taylor-La Crescenta, Dominic Vicino-Rancho Cucamonga, Bryan Wolak-San Dimas, Matthew Wong-Alta Loma and Joshua Woolery-Arcadia.

Nominated to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York are: Deanna Dalton-Upland, Nicolas Der-San Gabriel, Colin Dorner-Upland, Joanne Oh-La Cañada Flintridge, Stephen Oh-La Cañada Flintridge, William Regis-Glendora, Ryan Safar-San Dimas, Dominic Stone-Sierra Madre, Bryan Wolak-San Dimas, and Darryl “Seve” Woods-San Marino.

Nominated to attend the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland are: Nolan Andres-Alta Loma, Floyd Sie-Obadiah Clark, II-Alta Loma, Kelly Dualan-San Dimas, Matthew Faber-La Cañada Flintridge, Brittany Lamon-Paredes-Rancho Cucamonga, Catherine Orrin-Covina, George Stockdale-Claremont, Ian Taylor-La Crescenta, Bryan Wolak-San Dimas and Joshua Woolery-Arcadia.

Nominated to attend the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York are: Bria Cortez-Rancho Cucamonga, Matthew Faber-La Cañada Flintridge, Christopher Falkenbury-San Marino, Scott Margiotta-Walnut, Joanne Oh-La Cañada Flintridge, Catherine Orrin-Covina, Raymond Sproull-Pasadena, Lisa Stevens-La Crescenta, Jaron Swinburn-Rancho Cucamonga and Bryan Wolak-San Dimas.
                                                                       
"I am pleased to nominate these young people for admittance to our nation’s service academies," said Dreier. "They are an incredibly talented and dedicated group.  Each would give outstanding service to our nation as a military officer."

            The nominees will now compete with other nominees from around the nation for the available positions in the class that will enter the academies this July.
