Dreier to Meet with La Caņada Flintridge Officials, Survey Affected Areas Today
SAN DIMAS, CA – Congressman David Dreier (R-San Dimas, CA) will be seeing firsthand the La Cañada Flintridge neighborhoods affected by the mudslides and flooding today. Dreier will be meeting with local officials at La Cañada Flintridge City Hall and will observe the damaged areas and ongoing mitigation efforts.
“Residents in the Foothills are once again enduring the after-effects of a massive forest fire which left homes and roads so vulnerable,” Dreier said. “While we expect relief from the rains this weekend, it is critical to work to prevent any further damage. I will continue to urge federal agencies including the U.S. Forest Service to work closely with our local leaders and state officials in order to ensure all necessary resources are available for emergency crews and residents.”
