U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi | Representing the 12th District of Ohio

I am for health care reform, but NOT this version.  This is a bad bill.  We do nothing to address the cost of health care.  They increase taxes on individuals and employers.  They cut Medicare.  They add debt to future generations.  

But don't take my word for it.  My hometown paper, the Columbus Dispatch, has published three editorials in the past week against this bill, suggesting "it is incredible that a sixth of the U.S. economy and the health of every American could be subjected to massive government intervention based on such fiscal dishonesty and secrecy". 

This bill does nothing to reform the health-care system.  It just adds people to an already broken system.
