Lumpkin Post Office - On September 11, 2010, Congressman Tiberi attended a naming ceremony for the Linden Post Office after "Mayor" Clarence Lumpkin. This post office was on a list for possible closure, and Congressman Tiberi worked with Mr. Lumpkin to keep the post office open. Mr. Lumpkin has spent a lifetime serving the Linden community.

Staff Sergeant Danny Roese (RET) - Congressman Tiberi inducted Staff Sergeant Danny Roese (RET) of Columbus into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame. Sft. Roese was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with "V" Device for his heroic actions during a joint forces mission in the Republic of Vietnam. When his element was ambushed, Sergeant Roese performed courageously, by retrieving weapons, providing cover fire, and helping the wounded get to a safer location to be treated.
Congressman Tiberi Inducts Major David Larcomb (RET) of Delaware - Army Major David Larcomb (RET) was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for coordinating and executing a rescue mission over the Republic of Vietnam in January 1970.
Congressman Tiberi Inducts Veterans - Congressman Pat Tiberi inducted each of the veterans. To be inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame, an Ohioan must have been recognized by their military branch for valor.

Honda Fuel Cell Vehicle - Congressman Tiberi prepares to drive the new Honda Fuel Cell vehicle prototype. Congressman Tiberi also discussed with Honda representatives ways the company is working to increase our use of reusable resources while being cost efficient and safe for the environment. The Honda Fuel Cell vehicle runs on hydrogen and emits distilled water. Honda employs approximately 16,000 people in Ohio.
Alzheimer’s Association-Central Ohio Chapter - Congressman Pat Tiberi was honored recently by the for his work to assist Alzheimer’s patients and caregivers. Association Director of Special Events Suzy Rudolph presented the group’s “Giving from the Heart” award to Tiberi prior to the start of the Memory Walk fundraising event in Columbus on June 24. The House of Representatives recently passed Tiberi’s provision making federal assistance available to more family and friends who act as caregivers to those afflicted with Alzheimer’s. The language was included in Tiberi’s bill renewing programs for seniors authorized under the Older Americans Act, which was approved unanimously.
Mobile-Shop Company - Congressman Tiberi visits with Mobile-Shop Company president Jerry Guirlinger. Mobile-Shop Company, LLC, is a Columbus, OH, based company formed in October of 2004. The company produces, markets, sells and services its exclusive suite of products and services known as the Mobile-Shop™ System. The system was initially developed by company President Jerry Guirlinger to help problems regarding the maintenance of his 1500 unit apartment portfolio. With only a box or a bag to organize the hundreds of tools and parts needed to do their job, his maintenance technicians were spending more time looking for the things they needed than actually working. Jerry's solution worked so well, he turned it into a business!
Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial - Congressman Tiberi was a featured speaker at dedication ceremonies for the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial in Sunbury. The memorial pays tribute to Ohioans who have given their lives in war against terror. Tiberi has two staff members who have served with the Army in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Congressman Tiberi visited Worthington Park Elementary School - As part of the "Read Across America" program, Congressman Tiberi visited Worthington Park Elementary School in Worthington to read to the school's fourth graders. Tiberi also talked to the students about the importance of developing good reading skills, and answered questions about his job as a Member of Congress.
