Congressman Tom Reed will hold four town hall meetings this Saturday, December 15th in Ontario, Schuyler, Steuben and Yates counties. “I hope people can join the conversation and share their thoughts and ideas on what our priorities should be,” Reed said. “Input from all around our district is essential to good representation – everyone benefits from these open, face-to-face conversations.”
In August, Reed held his promised 75th public town hall meeting in the 29th Congressional District. Reed continues to offer residents opportunities to voice their opinions at public town hall meetings and tele-town halls.
Town halls will be held Saturday as follows:
8:00AM Corning Town Hall, 20 South Maple Street, Corning
10:30AM Watkins Glen Village Hall, 303 North Franklin Street, Watkins Glen
1:15PM Penn Yan Village Hall, 111 Elm Street, Penn Yan
3:30PM Phelps Community Center, 8 Banta Street, Phelps
“While we receive hundreds of letters, emails and phone calls each day, the town hall meetings are a major part of the job,” Reed continued. “I am always ready to listen and welcome the conversation – the topics are up to residents.”
Those unable to attend the town halls are encouraged to share their thoughts with Reed through his website (www.Reed.house.gov) or on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/RepTomReed. Individuals can also sign up for regular updates through Reed’s website (www.Reed.house.gov/contact-me/newsletter). Those in need of help with an issue regarding a federal agency can contact one of Reed’s offices: Washington (202-225-3161); Corning (607-654-7566); Olean (716-379-8434) or Pittsford (585-218-0040).
