Each year, Rep. Markey hosts residents of the Seventh Congressional District to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. for Constituent Day.
In April, 2011, Rep. Markey met with hundreds of local residents, took them on a tour of the floor of the House of Representatives, discussed the history of the Capitol and current events, and responded to a wide range of questions on issues facing the Commonwealth and the nation.
“Meeting with my constituents is one of the most important aspects of my job. I was thrilled so many were in DC and able to participate in this year's Constituent Day,” said Rep. Markey.
