Internship Opportunities

Current college students have the opportunity to intern in Washington, D.C. during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Internships are merit-based, with a heavy emphasis placed on grade point average and extracurricular activities. This is a great opportunity for any college student to gain college credit (if available at your current institution) and learn about the legislative process.

The application deadline for the 2013 spring session is Sunday, November 25, 2012. The internship will run from January 2013 until the end of the student’s spring semester. Students from Oklahoma’s Third Congressional District who are available Monday through Friday during their spring 2012 semester are preferred. To apply, please complete the internship application found at, http://lucas.house.gov/internshipform, and email two letters of recommendation to brad.morris@mail.house.gov. If you have further questions, please contact Brad Morris in my Washington D.C. office at (202) 225-5565.
