  1. Breaking: Senate just passed the U.S. Coast Guard bill that I've been working on for the last year with Sen. Cantwell. Will bring good jobs to Washington state and provide the Coast Guard with the resources they need to keep our coasts safe and secure. Now goes to President Obama for his signature.
  2. Today House Democrats are urging Republicans to allow us to vote on extending tax cuts for middle class families and small businesses. Like this post if you think Republicans should do the right thing and protect the middle class while fiscal cliff negotiations continue.
