Member Organizations

As a member of Congress, I work with other Representatives every day to make sure that the voices of the people I represent are heard.  That happens in the full Congress, in committee, informally in the halls and cloak room, and in the context of caucuses, coalitions and other member organizations.  These are groups of representatives that meet to focus on specific issues or to work together to advance legislation.

These are the member organizations I have joined:

  • New Democrat Coalition, Vice-Chair
  • Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition: The SEEC advances policies that promote clean energy technology innovation and domestic manufacturing, develop renewable energy resources, and create green collar jobs throughout the product supply-chain.  It also advances polices to help arrest global warming and protect our nation’s clean air, water and natural environment.
