Reducing Gas Prices

Consumer Relief for Pain at the Pump

The President claims there’s “not much we can do” in the short-term to provide consumers with relief from high gas prices. The RSC disagrees. There are conservative solutions that will not only drive down the cost of gas in the short-term, but also create a more stable marketplace for gasoline for decades to come. Developed by the RSC Energy Working Group, H.R. 1777, the Consumer Relief for Pain at the Pump Act will increase the supply of North American energy and lessen regulatory burdens, mandates, and prohibitions that artificially increase the price of gasoline.
