Foreclosure Prevention

California has been hard hit by our nation’s foreclosure crisis. Foreclosures are hurting families and whole communities and it is impacting our country’s economic stability as a whole. This page provides you with federal and local resources to help you modify your home loan, including links to a database of HUD-approved loan modification counselors trained in foreclosure prevention assistance.

Immigration Assistance

My office is very limited in what it can do to solve a constituent’s problems with immigration. However, there are a lot of great local organizations available where people can get free or low-cost assistance and legal advice with their immigration issues.

Small Business Assistance

Congresswoman Chu is a member of the U.S. House Committee on Small Business and recognizes the important role that small businesses play in our economic recovery. The purpose of this section is to provide information for small businesses, including links to state and federal agencies dedicated to assisting businesses and entrepreneurs to secure loans, export their products and contract with the government.
