Military Hazing - Tell Your Story

My nephew, Marine Lance Corporal Harry Lew, was a victim of hazing.  It killed him.  No service member should face such treatment - and that is why I am calling on our nation's military leadership to institute a zero-tolerance policy on hazing.

Service members and their families from all over the country have been sharing their hazing stories with me since Harry's death.  These stories are very important - they show that hazing in the military isn't isolated to a few cases, but is instead part of a pervasive culture that looks the other way and even encourages hazing.  I will be sharing these stories with top military leaders, the media, and Members of Congress.  Although I cannot promise to solve any problems you may be experiencing with the military, I can tell you that your stories matter.  We need more people to step forward to help shine a light on this issue.  If we work together we can put a stop to military hazing.  And I hope you will share your story with me through this form.
