Rep Susan Davis Statement on Shooting Involving Rep. Gabrielle Giffords
“Reports of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that are promising recovery are a great relief. I am saddened and outraged by this tragedy that killed a federal judge and a nine year old child as well as other injured innocent victims.
“Rep. Giffords is dedicated to serving her constituents. They are fortunate to have a woman with such energy and skill who cares so deeply about them.
“We must reflect on our country and pray that this horrible shooting will renew our dedication to a serious and civil dialogue about how we can have an even more perfect union.”
