Statement on Attacks on Americans in Egypt and Libya

WASHINGTON - John Kline issued the following statement after attacks on Americans in Egypt and Libya:

“My prayers are with the families of Ambassador Stevens and the other brave Americans who died in this horrific attack. Just one day removed from the 11-year anniversary of September 11, the attacks in Libya and Egypt serve as stark and sobering reminders we remain at war with Islamist extremists. As we continue to learn the facts about the attacks, we must remain vigilant and keep the brave men and women who continue to serve and protect us at home and abroad in our thoughts and prayers.”
